For the fourth time, the ladies from the USA have won the Women’s World Cup thanks to their 2-0 win over the Netherlands on Sunday. The ladies in red, white and blue clinched the title with two second-half goals from Megan Rapinoe and Rose Lavelle.
USA were already the first team to appear in three consecutive World Cup Finals and their coach Jill Ellis now becomes the first to win back-to-back World Cups.
