Proteas defeated in the first round of the World Cup

The Proteas went down by 104 runs in the Cricket World Cup opener against England yesterday. They were off to a great start but then started throwing wickets away which lead to an untimely defeat at the Oval.

Jofra Archer was the Englishmen leading the attack as he sent Hashim Amla off for concussion testing in the fourth over after a ball connected with his helmet. Archer carried on his attack and ended with 3/27 the Proteas were just not strong enough for the attack.
