Yesterday Senegal and Algeria secured their spots in the 2019 AFCON finals.
Senegal beat Tunisia 1 – 0 thanks to an own goal from Dylan Bronn in the 100th minute. Meanwhile, Algeria just managed to pip Nigeria with a 2 – 1 win, the game started with an own goal from William Troost-Ekong in the 40th minute giving Algeria the lead. Nigeria evened out the score in the 72nd minute when Odion Ighalo scored off a penalty. The game went into extra time where Riyad Mahrez put in the winning goal for Algeria.
The final will take place on Friday 19 July in Cairo at 21:00 CAT.
